District 103 Pathways Training – The Pathways Club Expert Program – Dec 2024

We’re looking for people who want to become Pathways Experts in their club.

The Pathways Club Expert program is a series of training sessions that will provide an in-depth exploration of every aspect of Pathways and how to teach it to others. Sessions will be offered once a month for the next 6 months. Drop in for just one class, or take the entire series to become a true Pathways Club Expert.

Session 3: The Role of the Base Camp Manager

Who should attend:

– Toastmasters members who want to “peek under the hood” and learn how Pathways works
– Members who want to be a valuable resource to their clubs
– Members who aspire to be Pathways “gurus” and trainers

This will be intermediate-to-advanced session for members who have been in Toastmasters at least 6 months and have completed at least one level in any path.

What attendees will learn in this session:

– Review the role of the Base Camp Manager (BCM)
– Learn how the BCM role has changed in the new Base Camp
– Understand how the BCM helps steer the club to DCP success
– Tips and tricks for managing the BCM role
